Hello,
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Albert Vasquez and I’m an Acolyte and the Business Manager here at St. Ann.
As we all know, Covid-19 has affected many people in our community with financial hardships, the Church included. Many thanks to those of you whom have been sending your donations in the mail. Thank you to those that are currently enrolled in Faith Direct, and those that are newly enrolled in Faith Direct.
However, after thoroughly reviewing our finances, we cannot ignore the facts. With the current donations being made, St. Ann’s can function for about 5 to 6 months; unless of course, things return to “normal” soon.
We have been mandated by the Bishop to continue paying the staff. We were told to work from home. Therefore, we have forwarded calls to our cell phones and are only maintaining a physical presence when necessary. This is actually harder than it sounds.
St. Ann had over 4,000 views for Mass last Sunday and we are averaging over 800 views for daily Mass. If we could get everyone watching to donate just $2.00 - $5.00, that would make a great impact. And yes, you can donate more than that.
I know that we are in uncertain times, so it’s very difficult for me to ask you to for donations but please prayerfully consider helping in whatever amount the Lord is leading you to give.
So, if you are currently sending your contributions in the mail, please continue to do so, for those who would rather donate electronically, we ask that you please text the word “
Enroll” to the number
817-270-6659 to sign up for Faith Direct. Please be aware that to enroll, you will initially be asked to enter your information; this a one-time thing, after that, you simply text an amount, or setup automatic weekly or monthly donations.
The information is on the website. If you need tech support, call the office on Monday and we should be able to help you with what you need.
We thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration,
Albert Vasquez
